Ben was born and raised in Visalia, California with his parents and 5 siblings. After attending junior college in Visalia, he transferred to Fresno State University where he played college tennis and graduated in 1985 with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing. Throughout his youth he enjoyed playing tennis and singing in a variety of venues. Ben recalls when he sang the National Anthem at the “Young American’s Tennis Challenge Tournament” in 1987, where he had the pleasure of running into future tennis legend Andre Agassi who seemed to be very impressed with his rendition! Ben began his career as a financial consultant in 1989 at Dean Witter where he remained until 2001 when he chose to further his career with LPL Financial.
Ben married his wife Leanne in 1988 and they have enjoyed raising their three children, Patrick, Maddy, and Christina. Ben and Leanne to love playing tennis, traveling as a family, and being involved in church. He also continues to love to sing.
